Automation and technological advancement has reduced the need for large crews aboard Federation starships.  In late 2385 the U.F.S. Arcadia's crew complement was downsized from approximately 300 to 100, along with a handful of civilians; the complement may fluctuate depending on mission requirements.  There is a roughly even mix of males & females, as well as some genderless beings.  The crew represents the Federation's multiethnic diversity; denizens from many different worlds and races are found here.

Unless requested otherwise, new applicants automatically receive highest available department positions.  Additional ranks/positions are added as needed (assistant chiefs, other department members and/or civilians).  Click here for a roster of NPCs.  If you would like to create a new position, please contact the webmaster.
